01 Overview

Thejo Engineering Limited ("Thejo", "we", "us", or "our") respects privacy and is committed to handling information responsibly. This Privacy Policy describes how the Thejo RTCM Monitor mobile application ("App") collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when authorized users access the App.

The App is designed for industrial equipment monitoring and provides authorized users with access to RTCM operating information such as blade life, temperature, battery status, machine or device identifiers, operating status, and related timestamps.

We do not use personal information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

02 Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Thejo RTCM Monitor App, its supporting APIs, servers, authentication systems, and related services used to provide RTCM monitoring functionality.

The App is intended primarily for authorized business, customer, employee, technician, service, or operational users. Access may be restricted by organization, role, credentials, or administrator approval.

03 Information we may collect

Depending on the configuration of the App and the user's organization, we may process the following categories of information:

Account & authorization data

Name, business email address, employee or user ID, role, organization, login credentials or authentication tokens, and access permissions when required for secure sign-in.

RTCM operational data

Blade life, temperature, battery status, machine or equipment identifier, operating state, sensor readings, timestamps, maintenance-related values, and historical equipment records.

Technical & diagnostic data

App version, device model, operating-system version, IP address, API logs, error logs, crash information, performance information, and security-related events when required to maintain the App.

Data entered by users

If the App allows users to submit notes, maintenance information, machine details, comments, support requests, or other operational inputs, we may process that information to provide the requested functionality.

Automatically received equipment data

The App may receive live or historical information from RTCM equipment, sensors, controllers, gateways, APIs, databases, or backend systems. This information is used to display and support monitoring functions such as blade-life tracking, live temperature monitoring, battery-status monitoring, operational visibility, alerts, and troubleshooting.

Location, camera, contacts, microphone, and advertising identifiers

The core RTCM monitoring functionality described in this policy does not require access to personal contacts, microphone recordings, or advertising identifiers. If a future App version introduces features that require additional device permissions or sensitive data, this policy and any required in-app disclosures will be updated before such data is processed.

04 How we use information

We may use information processed through the App to:

  • Authenticate users and manage authorized access.
  • Display current and historical RTCM blade-life information.
  • Display and monitor live temperature readings.
  • Display and monitor battery level or battery status.
  • Associate readings with the correct RTCM machine, device, site, or customer.
  • Provide dashboards, charts, trends, alerts, reports, and maintenance visibility.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and improve App reliability and performance.
  • Protect the App, backend systems, equipment data, and user accounts from misuse.
  • Respond to support, service, technical, legal, or security requests.
  • Comply with applicable law, contractual obligations, and legitimate business requirements.

05 How information may be shared

We may share information only when reasonably necessary for App operation, security, support, legal compliance, or authorized business use. Depending on deployment, this may include:

  • Authorized organization personnel: administrators, technicians, service teams, plant personnel, managers, or other authorized users who require access to RTCM information.
  • Technology service providers: hosting, cloud, database, authentication, notification, monitoring, analytics, support, or crash-reporting providers used to operate the App.
  • Legal or regulatory authorities: when disclosure is required by applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
  • Business transactions: where information must be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, reorganization, or similar transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for unrelated behavioral advertising.

06 Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, support monitoring and maintenance functions, satisfy operational or contractual needs, maintain security and audit records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the relevant RTCM deployment, customer or organization requirements, legal obligations, backup cycles, and legitimate business needs. Information may be deleted, anonymized, aggregated, or retained in a restricted form when it is no longer required for active use.

07 Data security

We use reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

Depending on the deployment, these measures may include:

  • User authentication and role-based access controls.
  • Restricted access to backend systems and databases.
  • Secure network communication where supported by the deployed environment.
  • Monitoring, logging, and review of technical or security events.
  • Software updates, vulnerability remediation, and access-management procedures.

No electronic system or method of transmission is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the deployment environment.

08 Your privacy choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and organizational policies, users may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, to raise a privacy concern, or to obtain information about how their personal data is processed.

Because the App may be provided through an employer, customer, plant, or other organization, some requests may need to be handled through the relevant organization administrator or authorized contact.

To submit a privacy request, use the contact details provided in the Contact section below. We may need to verify identity or authority before completing a request.

09 Children's privacy

The Thejo RTCM Monitor App is an industrial and business monitoring application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design the App for use by children under 13 years of age.

If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected through the App contrary to applicable requirements, we will take reasonable steps to address or delete the information as appropriate.

10 Third-party services and links

The App may rely on third-party technology providers for infrastructure, hosting, authentication, notifications, monitoring, crash reporting, analytics, or similar technical services. Such providers may process limited information as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

If the App includes links to third-party websites or services, those third parties may have their own privacy practices. This Privacy Policy does not control independent services that are not operated by Thejo.

Before publishing this policy, list the actual third-party SDKs and service providers used by the App, such as Firebase, Crashlytics, analytics, cloud hosting, authentication, or notification services, if applicable.

11 Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, technology, business practices, legal requirements, or data-handling practices.

When we make material changes, we may update the "Last updated" date above and provide additional notice where required. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
